Tell me about it. Lately, I’ve been experiencing tingling sensations with both my wrists. I pray that I do not end up getting carpal. Moreover, my vision tends to be blurry and my eyes tire faster than usual. But thank God I haven’t reached the pinnacle of stupidity to be getting a certain computer-related injury such as that mentioned in this article. lol

I’ve heard of DOS attacks through the net which clogs up a certain server with looping requests which results in viewers not being able to access the site being hosted by the said server. Now, this is something new. I never thought that DOS (Denial-Of-Service) attacks would go wireless. With tech these days, anything seems to be possible.

Here’s something new, SE plans on providing mass-produced environment-safe phones. Now how can that be? If I were to throw one away like some plain old trash will it not harm Mama Earth? I wonder?!

Reducing C02 emissions is not gonna cut it. As long as technology evolves and man does not take radical action, our home will be as good as an ihabitable planet in our solar system.

I once bought this nifty portable no-name speaker for portable music players e.g. iPod, MP3 players and the like. It was not something you would notice at first glance as speakers intended for such device. I just happened to be window shopping at Wellcom and saw it in the accessories section. It was cheap and out of impulse I decided to dish out a few Ps for it. However, to my dismay, it was nothing I hoped it would be. My iPod was on full volume but it could not get pass my earphones’ volume quality. Baaah! What else can you get from some cheap 3rd rate product? If you want something that would be worth your cents, check them out here.

The battle for coolness, portability and game selections is on. Who would you vouch for? The almighty Sony or that conservative Nintendo? You be the judge.

The things I would give to have an all-in-one gizmo—handy and convenient. It would be cool to have everything in the palm of your hands. With the advent of high-end phones and PDAs, it won’t be long before every feature would be available to just one handheld. Take this article I read for example. There are talks about Sony planning to have record companies provide music to their nifty portable game unit the PSP. I know you could easily listen to music through the use of UMD or the saved music files on Memory Discs. But how is it any different from having music provided by record companies? Well, for one, PSP’s WiFi capability is not fully maximized. Take the iPhone or iPod Touch for example, with an available WiFi access, you can easily download songs from iTunes while having coffee at Starbs or SB with your friends. Now why not use the same thing with a PSP? The plus side is, you have a gaming unit with you which will amp up more against the iPhone or iTouch. Personally, I’ve never owned a PSP unit. But I would love one with the said feature included. ^^

I read this article about what future holds for us when our technology reaches its pinnacle in the state-of-the-art-ism. We keep building and innovating technology to make our lives better and easier—plainly put, convenient. I kept asking myself, what if the technology we built were to indeed reach that pinnacle? Would mankind become outdated, outmoded, obsolete or replaced by mere machines? These things are constantly evolving through our endless tinkering, dissatisfaction and thirst for better and ingenious innovations. But are we, as human beings, evolving ourselves? Are we changing for the better—into super beings? How long will man stay rooted to just being a human—flawed and vulnerable.

I was walking towards the main gate of our Village when I saw it again slightly hiding behind a faint group of cirrus clouds. It was captivating with a hint of bleakness—an ominous glow in the night sky. I’d sooner trip while walking for I could not spare a moment to stare at it while outside in the streets. It was what made my day complete along with the rest of unruly events that took place during our long-awaited school tour to Bataan—a place I would rather not visit if not out of respect.

Her scent still lingers on my sleeve,” I thought as I walk.

She buried her face on my arm as she curled up to sleep throughout a portion of our bus ride back to Manila. She seemed so fragile and unmarred by reality’s cruelty. As she and the others slept, it gave me time to recollect the things we went through the whole day. I looked out the window trying not to succumb to the sandman’s will. I tried to find where it was—avoiding unnecessary movements so as not to awaken her. But seemingly, the glow in the sky indicated that it was behind us. I remembered her telling me how she wished the stars were out as well. How I wished they were too. It would have been great.

Perfect,” was the word swirling inside my head as I stared blankly outside the window.

The day couldn’t have been better. I love the fact that I did most of the video taking throughout the tour—mainly because I had control over what I can shoot *Sinister Laugh*. I enjoyed the sweat-drenched walk up the stairs to the cross at Mt. Samat. The pictorials. The Dinner at Subic. The Dinner Bribe at KFC along NLEX. The PSP sessions during the ride to Bataan. And the constant spurts of insults and jokes with one another. Despite the late rendezvous, the to-last-minute change of bus designation, the unfortunate vehicular accident our co-students had at Bus 3 (more unfortunate to those who were inside the car that got wrecked by the bus—the female driver and passenger were in critical condition), our bus breaking down halfway through to Subic and the long wait at the stopover at Lubao were all worth it. I can’t wait for the pics.

As I took out the keys, unlocked our gate, I looked up at it one more time, smelled her scent one last time and entered.
